Avatar-Reality will launch new builds of their SandBox Editor (SDK) and Viewer on Monday, 1st June, and will also launch a dedicated forum for Blue Mars Developers.
The url for the Developer Forum will be:
http://www.bluemarsdev.com/forum/
Everyone will need a login that they will be able to get through registering at bluemarsdev.com
The only people who will get access to the SDK are people who have signed and returned the Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA). An official I spoke to at Avatar-Reality is pretty sure that they're sending the Viewer to everyone who uses Vista and has preregistered. XP users will get it the following week, and then it goes into open registration.

Hi Rock,
I applied but haven't heard back from them with a NDA yet. I'm sure they are more than swamped. Do you know what open registration will mean? Will anyone be able to register and download it then?

I am not 100% certain what 'open registration' means. This is the Viewer part of my post (not the Editor, part of the SDK). I am assuming that testers are being given advance access to the Viewer, (Vista users first, then XP) and that it will be available to all shortly.
Please send them a reminder email, that has worked for others.

Hey Guys & Girls
Only just got the link for the SDK which will be available on 1st of June as Rock said, yes they are very busy so cut them some slack as it'll be a week or so before everyone is replied to. I can't wait to get started either. If you have signed & returned the NDA it shouldn't be too long now.
The journey begins...eventually

Great, and as we have two of the Blue Mars team as members of this forum, hopefully there will be a bit of nudging going on at BM.

OK, my old Developer account has been scrubbed, and I have been sent an email with a new link in it. I followed that link, and filled in the details on the Developer Fields there, including a Password.
That took me to a login screen, that asked for Email and password, and entering those took me to the /MyPage/ part of the website. On this page was My Account summary info, and one of the Tabs at the top said 'Download'. I clicked this, selected the Viewer + Client from the list of downloads available, and the link took me to another Authentication box that asked me for my 'User Name' and 'Password'.
This caused some head-scratching, but I eventually found that for the 'User Name' they wanted my email address. That started the download OK. I also found that the Forum login also needs the same email address and password.
Incidently, if this is your first time, also select the Adobe Flash Player, DirectX Runtime Installer, and Visual C++ 2005 SPI downloads as well, the Viewer will not work without them.
